Too much memory was used bug

Hi all,

We have updated the platform with a fix.

• New reported errors should now show the correct error stack trace
• Old reported errors can unfortunately not be recovered

Please do not hesitate to contact us in case the “too much memory” error occurs, as this can still be a valid error!

My recommendation would be to check where the memory usage is the most, as described in this thread by my colleague:

Memory error

You can profile the memory using the the package using this memory profiler package in your development environment. install the package in your venv using: pip install memory_profiler Start VIKTOR with the profiler with: mprof run viktor-cli.exe start use the app as normal in the browser. Afterwards you can check the memory usage using: mprof plot If the plot gives an error, try to install PyQt5 in your venv. pip install PyQt5

If, after the evaluation, you conclude that there are no changes that will significantly help reduce the memory, please let me know.
