The image above, isn’t present if we use the child entity manager.
Why isn’t this visible and how can we get it visible?

While I’m waiting for someone with knowledge of this matter to give the reason, could you explain what value the button provides once the entities are visible within your editor through the ChildEntityManager?
As long as you are within the step, page, tab where the childentitanager is, it is each to go to the child. But it is of great value to be able to navigate to the children from whatever position in the parent editor.
The side bar gives this value also, but this is general for the workspace and not for the parent with children.
