Change UI_name with OptionField

Hi, I am working on an automatic translation tool. When the user selects the language option, text should be changed to the selected language. How can I change the UI_name with the selected option? And is this even possible in Viktor?

Hi @BlackIPanda , thanks for your contribution on the forum! Dynamic ui_names are currently not possible in the platform. I think the following feature request covers your case. You can upvote it there and add your usecase / wishes:

Awesome If you’re asking about the desirability of this, make sure to also provide some context on the effort it takes. Because if it takes zero effort, saying yes to this is very easy. In order to make it truly multi-lingual, you probably also have to provide multiple texts for every ui_name on a field you have defined. This is not a singular effort, since every change you make on the textual elements caries the increased effort of translation. In short i think the stakeholders need to weigh…
